Originally from Bozeman Montana, Bobbi is passionate about improving student experiences and supporting educators especially in underserved communities throughout the western United States.
Bobbi has a diverse career background situated in experiential education, social work and international relations. Her career began as a teacher after she graduated from Quest University in Canada. Bobbi has worked in various experiential education roles as a K-12 and college level Educator. She has taught SEL in schools and programs throughout Central Oregon and British Columbia including College Excel, a therapeutic program in Bend, Oregon and at Ecole Squamish School. Bobbi has also led multiple international semester programs with ARCC Programs where she designed and implemented curriculum including subjects in SEL, global relations, environmental science and Spanish language.
In the social work field, Bobbi has spent a cumulative four years in roles ranging from working as a front-line crisis responder at the Howe Sound Women’s Center in British Columbia to working for the Solidarity Foundation as a SEL and sexual health Educator based in Quito, Ecuador. In her most recent position, Bobbi has been working in outreach for a comprehensive medical clinic and teaching health and wellness to a diverse patient demographic in Bend, Oregon. Bobbi’s heart is in the western United States and she is dedicated to making a difference in schools and districts throughout the areas and communities that raised her.
Bobbi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Education with a minor in Spanish from Quest University Canada and she is actively pursuing her remote Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Naropa University. In her free time she enjoys traveling, river rafting, skiing and spending time with her family in Bend, Oregon.
