Christiana is a former educator dedicated to helping students develop a love of learning and a strong sense of curiosity about the world and the people around them.
After earning her MA in teaching and single-subject teaching credential, Christiana taught 7th and 8th grade history in Orange County, California. She used her social science curriculum to teach her students how to think critically, interact with empathy, and engage in intellectual risk-taking. Her teaching practice was grounded in the belief that building student self-efficacy and fostering student strengths are essential for students’ future readiness. Her experience teaching during and after the COVID-19 pandemic reinforced her advocacy for social-emotional learning and purpose-driven curriculum.
Christiana gained a passion for edtech while utilizing technology to develop collaborative and engaging lessons. This eventually led her to pursue a role where she could support educators and students from outside of the classroom. Through her edtech roles, Christiana has developed a passion for cultivating strong relationships with educators and providing approachable and accessible technical support. She enjoys the process of finding the solutions that best meet educators’ unique classroom needs.
Christiana attended the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a BA in psychology and social behavior, a BA in political science, and an MA in teaching. When the workday is over, you can find Christiana doing crafts and DIY projects, hanging out with her cat, and traveling the world.
