Mercy is a dedicated professional with a passion for supporting educators and enriching the lives of children. With a degree in Business Administration from UNC Charlotte, Mercy initially aspired to be a teacher but found her calling in partnering with educators to enhance the learning experience for all children.
Her education career began at Hatch Early Learning, where she spent a decade advancing early childhood education through the integration of research-backed technology. Her work at Hatch focused on developing tools designed specifically for young learners, helping to shape the future of early childhood education. After her time at Hatch, Mercy joined Curriculum Associates, where she played a pivotal role in helping districts nationwide adopt meaningful assessments and curriculum. Her expertise and dedication have made her a trusted partner to educators across her extensive professional network.
Mercy is deeply involved in her community. She volunteers as a mentor to high school girls at her church’s Girls Club, supports activities at her boys' high school, and is committed to aiding underprivileged children and adults. Her desire to help others and foster inclusivity through the support and empowerment of diverse communities is a consistent thread in all she does.
Proudly married to a retired Navy veteran, Mercy's free time is usually spent in the stands of her twin boys' athletic events. She is now helping them navigate the exciting journey of athletic recruitment.
