Olive is passionate about increasing young people’s access to education and mental health support so they can live their best lives.
In true Wayfinder fashion, Olive has pursued this passion in a variety of ways: as an outdoor educator for her former high school, Marin Academy; a field guide for Open Sky Wilderness Therapy; a program manager of Bay Area-based nonprofit GirlVentures; and as wellness coordinator in Seattle Public Schools. Prior to joining Wayfinder, Olive worked as a Leadership Trainer for LifeLabs Learning, a company that transforms workplace culture by teaching life’s most useful skills.
Olive completed her Masters in Clinical Social Work from Smith College. This training equipped Olive to approach her work through a systems lens, honoring the historical and environmental contexts that are always at play in shaping our lived experiences. She’s passionate about supporting individuals and teams to uncover priorities and what the collective needs to feel resourced.
In addition to her MSW, Olive holds a Bachelor’s in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley (#gobears). She is an experienced practitioner in psychodynamic psychotherapy, somatics, trauma-sensitive mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems.
In her free time, Olive is likely training for an Ironman, playing with her sweet dog Tux, or seeking out the best bougie (human) treats.
